In 2024, the US economy reigned supreme. According to OECD figures, the country outperformed its rivals with real GDP growth of 2.8 per cent, compared with an anaemic G7 average of 0.9 per cent. However, with Donald Trump’s inauguration date just weeks away, can the it hold on to the top spot next year?
