- Intermediate Capital has a lot of room to grow, says Cane
- Barriers to entry protect it from the competition
Julian Cane, manager of CT UK Capital and Income (CTUK), explains why the trust invests in Intermediate Capital (ICG):
Intermediate Capital invests in private markets, across private debt, mezzanine finance and private equity in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. The company started as a private business and then listed in the 1990s. At that stage, it was just investing its own money and did that very well.
